By downloading, installing, or using the Phone Cleaner application ("App") developed by Cherrypy ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Services

Cherrypy develops and maintains mobile applications designed to optimize device performance and manage files:

2.1 Phone Cleaner

Junk file, cache, and temporary file cleaning
Duplicate and blurry photo identification and removal
Virus and malware scanning
Application management and organization
Battery status monitoring and information
Quick access widget functionality

2.2 File Rescue

File recovery and restoration from deleted or lost data
Advanced file organization and management
Cloud backup and synchronization services
Duplicate file detection and removal
Secure file encryption and protection
File search and filtering capabilities
Recovery point creation and management

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Proper Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

3.2 Data Backup

CRITICAL FOR PHONE CLEANER: Before using cleaning features, especially photo cleaning and file removal, we strongly recommend backing up your important data. We are not responsible for any data loss that may occur during the cleaning process.

CRITICAL FOR FILE RESCUE: While File Rescue is designed to recover lost files, we cannot guarantee 100% recovery success. Always maintain regular backups of important data. File recovery success depends on various factors including storage condition, time elapsed since deletion, and device usage after data loss.

3.3 Review Before Deletion

You are responsible for reviewing all files, photos, and applications marked for deletion before confirming removal. Once deleted, files may not be recoverable.

4. Permissions and Access

By using our Apps, you grant us permission to access:

4.1 Common Permissions (Both Apps)

Device storage for scanning and file operations
Photos and media files for duplicate detection and management
Device information for performance monitoring
Location data for security optimization (optional)

4.2 Phone Cleaner Specific

Installed applications for management features
System cache and temporary files access
Battery and system performance data

4.3 File Rescue Specific

Deleted file recovery from device storage
Cloud storage accounts for backup services
File system deep scan for recovery operations
External storage devices and SD cards

5. Limitations and Disclaimers

5.1 Service Availability

We strive to maintain the App's functionality, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

5.2 Accuracy of Results

While we use advanced algorithms for file and photo analysis, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in identifying junk files, duplicates, or security threats. Users should exercise their own judgment when reviewing suggested deletions.

5.3 Third-Party Content

Our virus scanning feature may use third-party security databases. We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of third-party threat information.

6. Limitation of Liability

DISCLAIMER: OUR APPS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR:

Data loss or corruption during cleaning or recovery operations
Device damage or malfunction
Accidental deletion of important files
Incomplete or failed file recovery attempts
Security breaches or malware not detected
Cloud backup failures or synchronization errors
Loss of files during transfer or organization processes
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

FILE RESCUE SPECIFIC LIMITATIONS:

Recovery success rates vary and are not guaranteed
Some file types may not be recoverable
Overwritten data may be permanently unrecoverable
Cloud service interruptions may affect backup functionality

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the App, to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your information.

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Cherrypy and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the App:

For any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful acts
To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations or laws
To transmit or create any harmful code or malware
To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the App
To reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

10. Updates and Modifications

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We recommend checking for updates regularly.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

12. Age Restrictions

The App is rated for "Everyone" but is intended for users who can understand the consequences of file deletion and system optimization. Users under 13 should have parental supervision.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
